Hazel (Snyder) Shipley

Age 88 formally of Fairview died Sunday October 15, 2017 at Emerald Pointe nursing center in Barnesville. She was born February 19, 1929 in Massillon, to the late Walter G. and Bertha Miller Snyder. A step-mother, Ruth Snyder helped  raise her. She was member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death by 5 days was her husband William A. Shipley and 4 sisters: Florence Gump, Ilene Caldwell, Mary Hoopingarner and Pearl Gattrell. 2 brothers, Howard & John Snyder.

Surviving is 2 daughters: Pamela ‘Jerry’ Phillips, Jerusalem and Patricia ‘Tim’ Van Camp, Cambridge. A son, Roger ‘Jodi’ Shipley of Jerusalem;  3 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. 2 sisters-in-law, Isbelle Buoni and Caryl Shipley.

Friends may call at the Bond Funeral Home in Londonderry, Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Services at 1:00 pm. The service will be a double service for she and her husband.
