Wanda (Freeman) Tedrick

WANDA FREEMAN TEDRICK

Wanda was born June 23, 1933 in Barberton, OH to the late Clifton ‘Cliff’ and Anna Lee Holbert Freeman. She was a 1951 graduate of Madison High School and a graduate of Texas A&M class of ’80. In 1981 she received the Silver Beaver Award in recognition in dedication to the Scouting program in Bryan-College Station.

She was preceded in death by her brother, 2LT Clifton Rozzell Freeman, US Army Air Corp.; her sister, Joan Mae Nattress, a nephew, Norman Nattress; and an infant niece. Survivors of Wanda & Bill Tedrick are Children: Maresa ‘John’, Melinda ‘Jimmie’ Jernigan, Charles ‘Tammy’, Ben ‘Melissa’, John David ‘Kathy’ and Eric 'Kathryn'. Grandchildren & Grandchildren: Amanda Hayhoe-Kruger ‘Greg’, their daughter Katie; grandson, Michael Hayhoe ‘Sabrina’ and daughters, Trisha and Sofia: grandson, Cade Leitko ‘Erin’ and Garret & Ellie; grandson Austin Leitko ‘Kara’ and Hadley & Everly; grandson, Trey Davis ‘Aimee’ & Brayton & Anson; grandson, Spencer Davis ‘Kat’ and Charlie and Lily; grandson, Grayson Tedrick ‘Kirstie’; grandsons, Harrison Tedrick, Brandon York, JD Tedrick, Will Tedrick & daughter Zoey, Justin Tedrick, and  Joseph Tedrick. Granddaughters: Kasie Tedrick, Paige Tedrick, Tess Tedrick, and Grace Tedrick. Extended family members and friends who held a special place in their hearts including Dennis Leitko, Lauren Powell-Boriskie and John Hayhoe. Many other extended family members and friends who held a special place in her heart including, Dennis Leitko, Lauren Powell-Boriskie and John Hayhoe.

Wanda died, June 3, 1917. A Celebration of Life service was held at that time in The Fellowship Hall of The First Christian Church in Bryan, Texas. A service and burial will be held for her and her late husband on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm with calling one-hour prior at the Bond Funeral Home in Londonderry. Roger Tedrick will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset View Cemetery.
