Blanche ‘Hollia’ Husk of Freeport, Died January 08, 2022, with her family by her side at Southern Ohio Reg. Medical Center.
She was born in Guernsey County, 11-02-1968, to the late Paul Ronald Cotton and Katherine Louise Cunningham Cotton who survives. Along with her husband, William ‘Bill’ Husk. 3 Daughters: Tina Marie Husk, Antrim, Kayla Nichole Husk, Kimbolton and Amanda Jane Wickham, Cambridge: 5 Grandchildren, Cambria, Aiden, William, Wyatt, and Colton.
Hollia, began working at the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center August 21, 1995. She worked for us 26 years (going on 27 years). She was well known and highly respected in the Senior Nutrition Industry. She served in multiple leadership roles as Activities Director, Executive Assistant, but most notably as Nutrition Department Manager for Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center-Meals on Wheels Guernsey County. Over the years she supported the mission of the senior center and insured that countless senior citizen throughout Guernsey County received a hot, home cooked meal. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, coworkers, peers, and clients she so dutifully and passionately served.
She graduated from Buckeye Trail High School in 1987 and from Belmont College with an Associate Degree. A former 4-H member, Secretary of the Friends of the NRA in Guernsey County, Member of Girls with Guns, loved riding 4-wheelers, Side by side with family and friends. She was always willing to help any way possible, Neighbors called her Farmer Hollia.
Visitation will be held, Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Bond Funeral Home in Londonderry, Ohio. Travis Queen will officiate at a 1:00 Funeral Service on Wednesday and burial will follow at Antrim Community Cemetery.
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, face coverings and social distancing are required.
