Foster E. Luyster III, Age 62, of Zanesville passed away after battling a lengthy illness, February 8th, 2021 at The Morrison House in Zanesville. Born April 28th, 1958 at St. Francis Hospital in Cambridge, Ohio, he was the son of the late Foster Ellis Luyster, Jr. and Beverly Nichols of Cambridge. In addition to his Father, he was preceded by a brother, Mike Luyster and a sister, Tammy Gallaher.
Foster worked as a truck driver and feed mill worker. He loved to tell stories about his travels and adventures during his career. Foster also enjoyed fishing and could talk for hours about the ones that got away. He was a graduate of Barnesville High School Class of 1976.
A warm-hearted loving and caring son, brother, father, and grandfather, Foster is survived by his mother Beverly Luyster of Cambridge, 2 sisters, Candy ‘George’ Beard of Tiltonsville, and Tina ’Scott’ Boulet, FL. A son Keith (Melissa) Luyster of Belmont, daughter Heidi Luyster of McConnelsville, grandchildren Kaden, Taylor, Lane, Colton, and Rylan, fiancé Jessie Winland, special daughters Mary (Dave) Ledsome of Zanesville, and Jackie Winland of Strasburg. Foster is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom he also loved dearly.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions Masks and Social Distancing will be required for Visitation, Monday, February 15th at Noon, and the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm. at the Bond Funeral Home in Londonderry. Pastor Bob Merritt will officiate, and burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery on Route 800 South in Belmont County.
