Helen M. Baker, age 96, of Freeport Route, went to meet her Lord and Savior at her home on Tuesday, November 24 with her family by her side.
She was born in Noble County to the late Bert & Lillian Carpenter Neuhart, March 14, 1924. She was proceeded in death by her husbands, Yugo Gustina and Oscar Baker. A granddaughter, Brett Baker. Also, three brothers: Kenneth, Jackie & Earl Neuhart.
Helen enjoyed cooking and the family Sunday Dinners. Flowers & sewing. She was a Church of Christ member.
Helen is survived by sons: Richard ‘Becky’ Gustina of Millersburg, Terry ‘Judy’ Baker of Greenfield, Tony ‘Marcia’ Baker, of Wadsworth, Steve ‘Teresa’ Baker of Quaker City and Scott ‘Susan’ Baker of Freeport. Daughters: Penny ’Lee’ Bond of Londonderry, Lillian Baker & Bridget ‘Don’ West of Freeport Route. Sisters: Marjorie Kuhnash, Newcomerstown and Patsy Lafferty, Columbus. Grandchildren: Jason ‘Angel’ Baker, Tina, & Brian Baker. Miranda ‘Robert’ Melvin, Tyler ‘Keely’ Bond, and Colton West. Kelly Bond whom she considered as a granddaughter. Great Grandchildren: Elijah, & Hannah Baker, Walker, Gannon & Helen Kay Bond, Penelope Melvin. Her faithful companion, Kingie.
Visitation will be held, Friday, November 27 from 11 am. until 12:45 pm at the Bond Funeral Home in Londonderry, Ohio. Scott Baker will officiate at a 1:00 Funeral Service and burial at Sunset View Cemetery, Londonderry.
